Individual Donations:

Your donation goes to support KMVT 15 & Playing For Change. KMVT 15(kmvt15.org) an award winning community television station that has been able to provide service to over 2000 youth through our youth media programs over the last 10 years.  Our mission is to provide media literacy education, hands-on training, and civic engagement. We serve as a resource to narrow the digital divide through the use of technology, and provide the community with the tools to create media and utilize technology in a socially responsible manner.

Our programs leverage your investment to be able to continue providing and expanding our youth program offerings.  Currently, we provide digital & media literacy camps during the summer, afterschool programs and a digital literacy program within our school districts which allows for parents and students to work closer together to close the digital divide.  Please join us in keeping our youth educated through media.  Your Donation is tax deductible per CA law.

Playing For Change is a multimedia movement created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. The Playing For Change Foundation (PFCF) was established in 2007 and is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to create positive change through music and arts education. We support music schools and programs that are created and operated by the local community, and then purposefully connect those communities around the world.

To date, Playing For Change has created nine music schools and programs in Ghana, Mali, Rwanda, South Africa, Nepal, and Thailand. Each week more than 700 children participate in free music instruction, and we’re constantly working to strengthen our existing programs and to expand our programmatic reach worldwide. Recent program evaluations reinforce the real and positive impact of music education and demonstrate change in action. Music education improves students’ learning in math and language, increases students’ self-esteem, and fosters joy.
