Each season, KMVT Community TV accepts applications for one (1) television marketing intern..

The marketing intern assists in market research, developing strategies and creating promotional materials for KMVT Community Television & KMVT15 Productions, our Video Production unit.

Tasks include:

• Develop promotional materials for programs and events
  
• Assist with development of sponsorship presentations
  
• Research prospective sponsors in the community
  
• Conduct market research
  
• Assist with website maintenance
  

Requirements:

• Ability to work 10-15 hours/week during the internship session
  
• Flexible schedule, available weekdays, typically 9am-3pm
  
• Organizational and design skills
  
• Must possess writing, grammar and speaking skills
  
• Working knowledge of Windows 2000, XP and MS Office
  
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, email and web.
  
• Must be a college level Junior, Senior or Graduate, or higher.
  
• Must show initiative, multi-tasking skills and able to work in a team environment.
  

KMVT Community Television (cable Channel 15) is a non-profit organization providing local television, government access, and Internet programming for residents of Mountain View, Cupertino, and Los Altos. In addition, KMVT serves as the premier creative agency for high end, innovative video and broadcast production services to corporate, non-profit, and government organizations. KMVT offers program sponsorship opportunities and media production training throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
