KMVT 15 is thrilled to launch a number of ways you can assist us in raising funds. KMVT 15 uses funds raised to keep our award winning educational programs running and it also allows us to provide low cost educational media workshops. Here are some new and exciting ways you can participate.


We are looking to hire a Digital literacy instuctor fluent in spanish. We are moving forward with our Google Home Sweet Home Grant funded program: PROJECT CONNECT.

November 25, 2013 - KMVT 15 Launches Google Home Sweet Home Grant Funded Program: Project Connect
Tackling the digital divide directly in Silicon Valley, KMVT 15 will launch Project Connect: Engaged Community Citizens beginning in January, 2014.

September 7-8, 2013 - Mountain View Art & Wine Festival
Look for KMVT 15's coverage of this annual festival or walk down Castro street and enjoy the art, food and music

June 2013 - KMVT 15 Welcomes new Board Members
KMVT 15 Silicon Valley Community Media elects six new board members.

July 2013 - Social Media, Social Good & Your Nonprofit
Join us for a “why-to” and “how-to” workshop on effective use of video, social media, and crowd funding to tell your story, increase supporters, and utilize online fundraising.

May 2012 - A La Carte & Art
Festivalgoer’s will find thousands of beautiful, handcrafted items by the west coast's top artists and craft makers showing original work at A La Carte & Art, the Bay Area's official kick-off to festival season, May 5-6, 2012 in Mountain View CA

The look of the website has just gotten an overhaul. Everything is still there but a few things have moved. We have added an RSS feed for Silicon Valley Buzz and more feeds will be on the way. If you have any problems please let us know.

DEC 2011 - Mountain View Tree Lighting Celebration
Every year the city of Mountain View celebrates the lighting of its tree with music and celebration. KMVT 15 covers the event and interviews members of the city government as well as asking members of the public about the event.

MAR 2010 - Call for Entries to the Hometown Video Awards
The Hometown Video Festival honors and promotes community media and local cable program. Please bring your DVDs and completed Entry Form to the KMVT 15 reception desk by Thursday, March 18th.

JUL 2008 - KMVT 15 Community Producers win National Awards
KMVT 15 Community Producers Hema Kundargi, Kim Lawson, Eric Chong, Raymond Donald, Andrew Willyoung and Loretta Beavers are awarded first place in the 2008 National Hometown Video Awards festival in Washington DC .

JUL 2008 - KMVT 15 Productions wins National Award
Brian Szabo (Executive Producer), and Naomi Ture, (Producer/Director) of KMVT15 Productions, were awarded first place in the 2008 Best Professional Educational Profile by the National Alliance for Community Media in Washingon, DC for the video, "What's Inside Me". APR 2008 - KMVT 15 Launches its Web Channel
The KMVT 15 Web Channel webcasts our diverse community-produced programs, local events, local high school sports and KMVT's own professional videos, all viewable on our KMVT YouTube station.

DEC 2007 - Watch LIVE Coverage of MV Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration!
Rusty King and Tia Turnbull are back to host this year's Celebration with live holiday music, on MV Channel 15, Monday, December 3rd, from 6pm - 8pm.
