KMVT SUMMER CAMP 2008!
KMVT15 will bring you a fouth summer of television, video and animation learning experiences for kids in middle school! Please check again in Spring 2008 to register your child. We offer 1-week sessions of Intro to Studio Production, Advanced Studio Production and Claymation! Mix and match camp sessions to attend camp anywhere from 1 - 3 weeks or more at our KMVT Television Studio!

SUMMER 2008 Claymation
Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm
Middle school students ages 10-14
This is a week-long camp where you’ll learn everything you need to know to create your own claymation short movies. No previous experience necessary!
Students will learn Clay Animation using the same stop-motion techniques of the Wallace & Gromit films,Chicken Run and your other favorite Claymation movies. Collaborating in small groups, students will conceptualize, mold, animate and edit a Claymation final project. Student animations will be broadcast on Channel 15 and uploaded to the website. No clay experience necessary. Camp held at KMVT studio. (Bring a sack lunch & drink!)

SUMMER 2008 Intro to Studio Production

Our one-week Intro to Studio Production Camp sessions introduce youth to media production through hands-on experience. Students will use KMVT’s industry-standard professional studio and equipment to gain basic skills in screenwriting, storyboarding, camera work, lighting, directing, sound design, acting, and editing. By the end of the week, students will produce an entire production, which will be broadcast on cable Channel KMVT15! Students will each receive a DVD copy of the program they produce. The TV station will provide all equipment. (Bring a sack lunch & drink!)

SUMMER Advanced Studio Production Camp
Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm
Middle school students ages 10-14
Advanced Studio Production brings youth in-depth into television and video production. Students must take Intro to Studio Production as a pre-requisite. Students will use KMVT’s industry-standard professional studio and equipment to further their skills in screenwriting, storyboarding, camera work, lighting, directing, sound design, acting, and editing. PLEASE NOTE: Cancellation Policy
If you choose to cancel or change your spot in a Spring or Summer Camp Session, we reserve the right to withhold a $50.00 cancellation fee for administrative purposes. No refunds will be given for cancellations or changes 14 days prior to your camps session.
