Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is KMVT 15 Public Access TV?

Public, Education, and Government Access (PEG), or community media, refers to the local cable television channels dedicated to programming produced by and for the community. PEG channels were established in the United States due to the Cable Communications Policy Act of 1984, which required cable television providers to set aside channels for non-commercial use. The idea behind PEG channels was to provide a platform for the public to create and share content that was relevant.
