“Early Bird” Studio Photography Intensive – September 2025

This course is designed to give you access to professional lighting, and place you on a fast track to improve your skills. We’ll focus on portraits, product, and macro photography in a studio setting.

We welcome all photographers to get creative before other obligations take over your day. This course meets on Tuesdays in September, 2025 at 7:30am for 1 hour:

1. September 2, Photography Basics – exposure, composition, focal lengths, shutter speeds, and photo editing basics.
2. September 9, Portrait photography – using studio or natural light.
3. September 16, Product Photography – using studio lights, learn to tell a story with objects.
4. September 23, Macro Photography – composition, lighting, learning to see details in the world around you.

The course takes one month to complete, and is offered monthly with some exceptions. Keep an eye out for the next available course!

As a student, it is recommended that you  provide your own Smartphone Camera or a DSLR / Mirrorless Camera.

Having a camera will allow you to take the skills you learn home with you, but you don’t need top of the line gear to take amazing photos! For photo editing, we will train with the Adobe Creative suite, but can provide other free applications to try if desired. Please let us know ahead of time if you wish to use an alternate application.
