KMVT 15 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

"Get involved in every aspect of television, video and multimedia production at KMVT 15!"

KMVT 15 is currently accepting applications to fill the following internship positions. We accept interns on a rolling basis.

Our Internship Program Overview

KMVT 15 offers internship programs in television/video production, web development, sports production and marketing. Students have been pleased with the variety of experience and duties they get while interning at KMVT 15. Since we are a small station with limited staff we rely on interns to help fill the production gaps. Opportunities include studio and field work, editing, developing news packages, creating promotional materials, web production, and/or working on local sporting and special events.

An internship at KMVT15 is truly an excellent opportunity for the highly motivated and self-directed student to gain a breadth of hands on experience in television production. The selected interns will find that the skill-sets they develop while interning at KMVT will truly help propel their career in television production, web production, marketing and/or journalism.

Internship Duration & Commitment

We offer internships in the Fall (September-December) and Spring (February-April/May). Dates are flexible and will be considered on a case by case basis. During the school-year, we ask for a minimum commitment of 120 hours, which breaks down to 10 hours/ week for 3 months.
